Pizzavino707 closing after dinner Sunday

Blogger Michele Anna Jordan reports that Sebastopol’s Pizzavino707 will close after serving dinner Sunday, Aug. 28. Although the food was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the restaurant never reached the necessary watershed of customers, due in large part to the struggling economy.

But change is on the horizon, with a new dinner-only restaurant opening in the same location sometime between mid-October and the beginning of November, with Steven Peyer and Jamilah Nixon at the helm. The space will be two restaurants with two kitchens and one name, which has not yet been announced.
