The “i walk sebastopol” group will kick-off its 2012 schedule this Saturday (Feb. 25) with a 3.5-mile tour that will visit two little-known waterways and a temple.

The free walk will start at 9 a.m. from the town plaza and return by noon.

Tour leader Geoffrey Skinner will lead the group to to the eastern branch of Calder Creek and then to Witter Creek.

On the way back to the plaza, there will be a stop at Enmanji Temple where a  history of the landmark will be discussed.

The year-long series is sponsored jointly by the city, Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce and Sebastopol Area Senior Center.
