Friday (2/17) Sebastopol Community Cultural Center presents Eric Bibb in concert at 8 p.m. He will play New World Blues. Tickets are $27 premium seating, $22 advance general, and $25 at the door. Saturday (2/18) The Catholic Federation is holding a fund-raising polenta and chicken dinner at St. Sebastian’s Church at 7983 Covert Rd. in Sebastopol. It starts at 6:30 p.m. Adults $15, kids 6-12 $7.50, under 6 free. Call 527-1021 for reservations.
Saturday (2/18) Sebastopol Center for the Arts is holding a chamber music concert featuring Larry Flor, piano; Valerie Marshall, cello; Miranda Kincaid, bassoon; Emily Reynolds, flute; Eric Anderson, French horn; Daniel Celidore, oboe. Saturday (2/18) is Mardi Gras time for the Food for Thought Food Bank thanks to the Sebastopol Rotary Club. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are running a casino night. Drinks and games and $200 in script to gamble with are all yours for $50. $100 gets you all of the above except there is $300 in script, two free drinks, a goodie bag and 20 raffle tickets along with VIP parking.
