Book launching at art center

Monday, October 8th, 2012 | Posted by | 2 responses

Sebastopol Center for the Arts is hosting a book launch for the book “The Marvelous Journals of Miss Virginia Pettingill” by the author Gil Mansergh. On Thursday, Oct. 11, from 7 to 9 p.m., you will hear Mansergh read from the book, get a book signed, see treasures from Miss Pettingill’s childhood, sip Mrs. Bloomberg’s famous Russian tea and sample Miss Pettingill’s fresh blueberry cake, and even take home her recipe.

All this fun and frivolity happens at the new Sebastopol Art Center at the old Veteran’s Memorial Building on High Street in Sebastopol. Call 829-4797 for more information.

  1. Is sip Russian tree a typo, should it be Russian tea ? Not meaning to be picky, just making sure I read it correctly.

  2. I’ve read the book and love it -
