Art and Music night at Aubergine starts at 6 p.m. on Monday (11/19) This features artist Stanley Mouse and others sculpting and sketching a live sitting model while music plays. Hopmonk Tavern is holding its annual Pre-Thanks Juke Joint night in the Abbey with DJ’s West County Boogie Ensemble featuring Malarky and Chango B. It’s free. Doors open at 8 p.m. The tavern is located at 230 Petaluma Ave. Call 829-7300 for information.
Before digging in to that turkey meal run off some calories for a good cause. The Analy Turkey Scramble happens Thursday, Thanksgiving morning. It is a fundraiser for Analy High School Running, Analy Summer Camp, Ceres and Analy Athletics. The entry fee is $25 for those 8 or older, $15 for 3 to 8 years, under 3 free. There are prizes for the best male and female costumes, and a free turkey for the best turkey waddle in the last 200 yards around the Analy track. Check in is at 7:30 a.m. and the race begins at 8:30 a.m. It all happens on the Analy High School athletic field.
Don’t be hungry or lonely on Thanksgiving Day. Sebastopol Community Church is dishing up a free Thanksgiving feast Thursday (11/22(from 1 to 5 p.m. in the church Memorial Hall. If you cannot get to the church the church can help arrange a ride or deliver a meal to you. Call the church office at 823-2484 to make arrangements.
French Garden Restaurant in Sebastopol is serving a prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday (11/22). It is $60 for adults, $25 kids 5 – 12, and free for the under 5 crowd. The restaurant is at 8050 Bodega Ave. Call 824-2030 to reserve.
Friday and Saturday (11/23 and 24) Bodega holds its annual crafts fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It happens at McCaughey Hall (the old fire house) on Bodega Highway in the heart of town. Santa will put in an appearance.
