Thursday, February 21st, 2013 | Posted by

Analy High School is hosting two solar workshops. The first is Saturday, Mar. 2 and runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and it is building a solar powered fountain. The project would make a good team project. It is by Solar Schoolhouse and the Rahus Institute. The cost is $50 registration, $200 for materials which include a redwood framed custom solar module, galvanized pipe, copper pipe fountain base and a 12vdc submersible pump. To add a team member add $10 to the registration fee. It takes place in the Analy High School Maker Space. Contact tor@rahus.org or call 829-3154 with any questions.

The second workshop is Saturday, Mar. 30 and participants will build a solar oven and minimum of two people are asked to be on each team. The cost is $160 for materials and registration with an extra $10 for each additional team member. You can preregister at soalrschoolhouse.net.
