The midget cheerleaders returned from the USA Junior Nationals with second-place freestyle honors.

Shirley Zindler, an animal control officer in Sebastopol, has written a book, "The Secret Life of Dog Catchers".  Zindler has four dogs of her own: golden retriever Hula, great dane Tyra, doberman pinscher Breeze, and pug mix Rocky.  Other dogs staying at her house and available for adoption are small black mixed breed Chilli, beagle Maggie, and chihuahua McKenzie.
